Shall we use our hands to draw a spider? Then place it on its web, also drawn by you!
This activity is simple to do with children and the materials needed.
What you will need:
- a sheet of black cardstock
- scissors
- glue
- white colored pencil (to draw on black cardstock)
- a sheet of white paper
- two googly eyes
- colored pens
Let’s do it!
- On the black cardstock, trace an outline around your hand (with the help of an adult) so that, in the end, you have the spider’s body.
- Cut out the spider outline.
- Make some folds in the fingers (the spider’s paws), as shown in the video.
- Glue the googly eyes (if you don’t have them, you can draw them).
- Draw the mouth and eyebrows.
- Take the sheet of white paper and draw a spider’s web. In the video, I drew with rainbow colors, but you can draw with the color you want.
- Put glue on the back of the spider (not on the legs!) and put it on the web. There you have your spider in its web!
